1

Day 1 (Sunday), Arrival in Cluj

  • Flight  to Cluj-Napoca (optional)
  • Cluj-Napoca Airport-hotel transfer
  • Welcome dinner and get to know round

Day 2 (Monday), Cluj- Alba Iulia - Cristian

  • Morning tour of Cluj-Napoca old town, intro to Romania while enjoying coffee break in Central square
  • Walk on the foot-steps of Romans and Romanians uniting the country 100 years ago in 1918 in the citadel Alba-Carolina
  • Transfer to Conac Ambient 5* (Cristian) in the heart of rural Transylvania – watch the sun setting down between idyllic hills

Day 3 (Tuesday), Fagaras - Rupea - Viscri- Saschiz

  • Tour of middle age fortresses Fagaras and Rupea
  • Tour of Saxon fortified churches in Viscri and Saschiz (Unesco heritage)

Day 4 (Wednesday), Prejmer - Rasnov - Zarnesti

  • Tour of the fortified Saxon church in Prejmer
  • Ascend on by funicular on the Rasnov fortress – walk on the walls
  • Visit of the Wild Bear reservation in Zarnesti, to watch bear families enjoy life in their natural habitat

Day 5 (Thursday), Brasov - Poiana - Sighisoara

  • Old town tour of Brasov, visit of the 800 year old Black Church
  • Travel to Poiana Brasov and by cable car on top of the Carpathians for a breathtaking view on Transsylvania
  • Transfer to Sighisoara

Day 6 (Friday), Sighisoara

  • Visit Europe’s only medieval citadel which still accommodates several hundred local residents
  • Tour of the citadel guided by the only official drumbeater of the town
  • Souvenirs and antique products shopping in Sighisoara citadel
  • Dinner in Dracula’s birth place in the center of the citadel

Day 7 (Saturday), Sighisoara - Cluj

 

  • Breakfast and good-bye round
  • Return to Cluj (Airport)
  • See you on your next trip with us
